The Story Behind Wild Isle

2019 — A Seed Was Planted

Long before Wild Isle Consulting became a business, people were already coming to me for help solving problems, organizing systems, and finding practical solutions.

At the time, I wasn't building a consulting business. I was simply sharing the skills I'd developed through years of school and business ownership.

Growing Through Community

As more people asked for help, my work naturally expanded. I began supporting businesses with operations, systems, planning, bookkeeping, and project coordination. Each project reinforced something I had already come to believe: Strong systems create freedom.

Expanding My Perspective

An opportunity to work with First Nations and a treaty organization allowed me to support projects that were deeply meaningful. This work strengthened my understanding of governance, community planning, collaboration, and long-term thinking.

It also reinforced something that continues to shape my work today: meaningful change happens through relationships, trust, and thoughtful planning.

Following the Next Trail

The more I worked and learned about personal finance and businesses, the more I noticed a common thread. Whether someone was running a company, managing a household, or planning for the future, the challenges were rarely just about numbers.

They were about confidence.

  • Habits.

  • Systems.

  • Values.

  • And knowing where to begin.

Today

Wild Isle Consulting continues to grow alongside me.

Leaving my previous role forced me to ask a difficult question: What kind of work do I want to spend the next chapter of my life doing?

The answer kept bringing me back to one place... Helping people build healthier relationships with money. Then I knew I had one big passion I always had deep down: personal finance. That realization eventually led me to pursue financial counselling.

However, I still love the challenge of business and want to help other business owners. So, today, my work brings together business consulting, financial education, systems thinking, and community engagement to help individuals, organizations, and businesses build strong foundations for long-term success.

While the services have evolved over time, the mission has remained the same: Helping people find clarity, build confidence, and create lasting change.
